Waaaaaaaaaaah...

it has been a long time...

let me tell you how did i spend my christmas vacation and the 1st day of january 2007. by the way, i wasn't able to complete the 9-day misa de gallo. i missed the dawn mass 3 times. oh well, i was really dead tired those days.

after hearing mass, of course we had our traditional noche buena on the christmas eve with the whole family. after sharing the agape, we also exchanged gifts. i don't wanna be biased but there is a thing i have received last christmas that's the most precious i have received on that day. it's our little boy's christmas card with his very cutie penmanship and his very simple and innocent message. (hahay...i miss our baby boy so much!).

very early in the morning of december 25, we then had a picnic on the beach. we had our breakfast in there. i have felt that the joy was not really complete while we were on the beach because my mama was having health problem. we let her walk on the sand barefooted and then buried her feet and legs in the sand for several minutes. they said it's good for her because her legs and feet were getting bigger than the usual size.

until one morning on that same week, i really can't afford seeing my mama in that situation. although she was fine but we really didn't have the idea why was that happening to her body. we then brought her to the city for a medical check up. my mother underwent series of medical examinations and surprisingly, all results are fine except that her albumin is extraordinarily low. Albumin is a protein that forms a major component of the circulating blood- a component of blood serum. what? that is unbelievable! my mother who is very healthy has low blood protein?

after buying all the medicines prescribed by the physician, we then went home to the province because my mama wanted to celebrate "media noche" with the whole family. while on the table, i can feel many wonderful things awaiting us this year- abundance, good health...i really hope so!

and now my mama is ok! thanks God! Happy new year everyone! *wink*

Two Hearts United as One

"Union of two hearts through the holy matrimony called "MARRIAGE".

Last Saturday was my cousin's wedding day. We call her Nice. Her husband is Jeff. Jeff is a very loving man. Young but responsible. Youngest and the only son in the family but a very mature person. My cousin - the bride is also the youngest and the only daughter in the family. She is 20 and Jeff is 21.

I was the commentator during the mass and I really felt the holiness of the ceremony as I read the symbol of the chord, veil, coin, and ring - the wedding as a whole. The church was elegantly decorated with fresh flowers all over that when you pass on the aisle you can really feel a sense of royalty- the feeling of being a princess or a queen. But what really fetched my tears at that time was when the bride passed on the aisle together with that soul-stirring serenade of songs and music.

After all the projections over the video camera and the picture taking session in the church after the wedding ceremony, the car brought us to the reception where the real party begun. It was in Rocho's Garden in Dumanjug, Cebu. It was really a WOW! The place was perfectly decorated, the table setting, the flower arrangement, and the foods are PERFECT! What a scene to behold!

While we did the agape and the sharing of banquet, the party is ongoing. There were the "money dance" by the couple, the opening of gifts, the throwing of bouquet and garter, the "kilig to the bones" scenario of the ones who got the bouquet and the garter, etcetera, etcetera.

That was a truly grandeur ceremony - a truly musical event, but it is the spark on the couple's eyes which I called TRUE LOVE that made me told myself it was a perfect union of hearts indeed! Yes, it is really true...we should never miss this experience in our life.
